cry out to Jesus...

Well, I will start this post off by saying it was inspired partly by the Third Day song Cry Out To

Jesus. As most of y'all who follow me know, I have Autism and Bipolar Disorder. Recently it has

been very tough as I am going through many changes that have caused increased mood swings and

depression. Throughout all this, I have learned that at the end of the day, Jesus is there for you always

and that's why as Christians, in distress we should Cry Out To Jesus. He can help if you let Him. ...

There is hope for the helpless
Rest for the weary
Love for the broken heart
There is grace and forgiveness
Mercy and healing
He'll meet you wherever you are
Cry out to Jesus, Cry out to Jesus
- Third Day

  1. That's a beautiful song, Evan; and thank you for the reminder that Jesus is always there for us, if we will just trust in His care!

  3. Are you okay, Evan? I didn't get to read that last post before it was gone, but I really hope you're okay. Please don't kill yourself. Please, PLEASE. I don't know what you're going through, and I have no experience with depression or anything like that, but know that if there is anything I can do to help you, if there are days you need encouragement, you just need to ask.

I know any one of the bloggers I've met would care if you killed yourself. We all care, Evan. God cares for you most of all. And while sometimes it might be tempting to head straight home to Him, He has plans for us here on the earth.

Didn't David say, "I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Marvelous are Your works"? (Psalm 139:14) God doesn't make mistakes. He makes amazing creations. He made stars and galaxies and the ocean and sunsets. And He made you. The God Almighty made galaxies, and He made you. You sound pretty special to me, Evan.

    2. I read the post on my Blogger feed, but it was gone when I headed to your blog, which I hoped was a good sign.

I am so glad you got through your dark patch!
